Better is a subjective term. Can one machined hunk of aluminum really be any better than another?  Probably not, but we do consider a few changes that we made to be improvements.

First, the colors are more vibrant. The red is redder, the blue is bluer and the gold is golder.  Silver and black are not more silverer or blacker than the previous version.

Second, we added contrasting pointer lines on the top and sides of the volume knobs to help you recognize where your settings are from the standing position when your Helix is waaaaay down there on the floor.  The taller you are the more important this feature becomes.

Third, we modified the knurling on the sides to be a diagonal cross hatch pattern... because it looks cool.

Why, yes.  Due to overwhelming demand we have added Helix Stomp sets to the assortment available for immediate shipping..

While we do not currently have specific set for the HX Effects, our knob set includes everything needed for your Helix Floor, Rack, LT, HX Effects or Stomp.  With the LT and HX Effects you will have knobs left over.  Feel free to use them on other pedals (like your Digitech FreqOut, Line 6 G70 wireless, or anything with a 6mm shaft). 

Helix Stomp Users:

The Helix Stomp has (6) of the 12mm encoder knobs.  Some users have been putting a 20mm Headphone Volume knob on the Stomp's master volume pot.  If you choose to do this, you'll need (5) 12mm Encoder knobs and (1) 20mm Headphone Volume knob.

HX Effects Users:  

You've only got 4 knobs.  (1) 20mm encoder knob and (3) 12mm Encoder knobs.  Feel free to purchase the individual knobs in your choice of resplendent colors.

*When purchased individually the knobs do not come with the hex-key, but any 2mm hex wrench will work.

These are solid, anodized aluminum.  I suppose it's possible that they'll fade over time, but I've never seen anodized aluminum do that, so I'm going to say no, they won't.  These are built to last.    That's not to say that you couldn't destroy them if you were diligent enough but I'm sure it would take some sort of metal grinder to do it.  Just FYI, this is NOT an invitation to go ahead and destroy your new Helix Knobs.

If you DO try to destroy them, I would love to see the youtube video, so please forward it to me.  May I suggest melting them down into aluminum sludge via a crucible.

The stock Helix knobs are thin, black aluminum shells with a plastic insert to keep them in place.  Some users have reported the plastic insert coming out, or breaking making them unusable.  So, structurally our knobs are superior in the sense that they are solid aluminum and held in place by a set-screw.  

Visually our knobs are unmatched because we have 6 brilliant colors, and one boring one (black).

 Yeah, it will look the same. I'm not going to lie to you.  Well, almost the same.  But if you want solid aluminum knobs, buy these.  Between you and me, I'm not really picky about which color you get.

Aaaand, for our friends across international borders, the shipping cost is flat, so order as many as you want.

It's possible, but not guaranteed.  Sometimes there is a knob within the set that doesn't pass visual inspection which orphans the other knobs.  The orphans will be available for purchase (does that sound as bad in print as it does out loud?), but keep in mind it's not like going to the car lot where you can pick out your color and get exactly what you want.  We might have exactly what you want, but Murphy's Law states that we won't have exactly the one you want. 

It's more like going to the animal shelter to find a pet.
